Environmentalist with experience in construction materials and life cycle analysis. Spent 9 years at the Building Research Establishment Limited. Currently a freelance consultant.

Background in media working on ethnic minority programming.
Currently works with Help the Aged, responsible for Cheshire and surrounding region. Chair of Ethnic Health Forum and sits on BBC Regional Advisory group for Children in Need.
Was a semi professional footballer and is FA qualified football coach.
