A new report by Euro MPs is calling for real action on destructive soy.

Meat and dairy production could be transformed if the report's recommendations become European farming policy.
They include:
- More animal feed grown in Europe
- Funds and training to help farmers grow their own animal feed
- Research into crops that are best suited to local areas
Growing moo-mentum
Thanks to pressure from Friends of the Earth activists the report is gathering pace in Brussels.
But some Euro MPs are trying to use this report to allow more genetically modified (GM) soy into Europe.
GM crops require more pesticides which
- damage wildlife
- affect local people's health
- increase climate changing emissions.
Take action
Please urge your own MEPs to back the report's planet-friendly solutions - and reject GM - when it comes to a vote in early March.
