Supermarkets power is ever expanding. Better regulation could stop them getting so big that they can ride roughshod over the environment, local shops, farmers and communities.

Make a difference by taking our online action asking Hazel Blears MP to support our proposals to protect town centres. Act now >

2

Visit your MP face to face

Ensure your MP cannot ignore your concerns. Talk to them direct. Get them to write to Hazel Blears MP asking her not to agree to the Competition Commission's recommendations to weaken planning laws and allow further out-of-town supermarket expansion.

3

Shop local first

Support your local shops - try to shop locally instead of at big supermarkets.
