The World Bank has delayed its decision and we don’t yet know what their response will be. What we already know is that the profile of the issue has been raised substantially, no doubt thanks to the impressive lobbying efforts of activists like you all over the world. This means it will be a lot harder for the World Bank to sweep the Review findings under the carpet.

The Sakhalin project has come under a lot of pressure and parts of the 800 km pipeline has been postponed because of concerns for the grey whale population. This is very good news and a success for the campaign.
Keep up to date with Sakhalin's future
