Results of this pack
With selfish and short-sighted businessmen and politicians at the Earth Summit it was bound to be a fairly depressing affair, but it would have been a lot worse had it not been for nearly 35,000 people who 'made a noise' in support of our campaign and gave Friends of the Earth a strong vocal presence. Also, thanks to your pressure on Jack Straw, Straw's message was reflected in a final Summit resolution to "actively promote corporate responsibility and accountability... through inter governmental agreements..."
