Scotland will not escape the impacts of climate change.

The world's climate is already changing. Here in Scotland we are already seeing dramatic changes in our weather such as flooding and landslides.

Extreme weather events are set to increase as climate change worsens. Devastating flooding in Scotland will become twice as common over the next fifty years and one in twelve homes will be at risk of flooding.

The Scottish Parliament controls many policy areas that affect climate change. But many crucial powers also remain at Westminster. Ask your MP to make sure that Scotland does its bit to cut climate change.
