As large swathes of the UK are licensed for fracking and more licences are due next year, communities right across the UK are fighting back.
To coincide with Global Frackdown Day on Saturday 19 October dozens of Friends of the Earth groups and activists across England, Wales and Northern Ireland will be out and about on their local high streets, speaking to the public and calling on councils to say no to fracking.
