Write to your MP as part of the Big Climate Connection22 October 2010
On 5 or 6 November thousands of people will visit their MP to ask them to take action to tackle climate change.
It's not too late to take part - sign up online now.
But if you can't visit your MP in person, you can still write to or email your MP and ask them to support a strong Energy Bill and a strong climate deal in Cancún.
In the UK we're calling for:
- Minimum energy efficiency standards for private rented homes
- A strong Green Deal to ensure at least 7 million homes have had an energy efficiency makeover by 2020
- A strong emissions performance standard (EPS) for fossil fuel power stations.
And internationally we're calling for:
- A climate fund to help developing countries adapt to climate change
- A guarantee that UK money will be provided as grants rather than loans.
