Tomorrow the Prime Minister will attend an EU Council meeting to agree the EU’s position for the Copenhagen climate talks.
He plans to push the EU to commit to 30% emissions cuts by 2020 - but this still only gives us just a fifty-fifty chance of avoiding dangerous climate change.
We urgently need to tell Gordon to commit to 40%.
The back-room deals of rich nations were also exposed yesterday - putting developing counties at more risk than ever.
Gordon needs to help sort out this mess and call for proper financial support for developing counties and for unjust offsetting to be scrapped.
