Support Fleeter Wood windfarm

A new windfarm is proposed for West Cumbria, at farm land between Dearham, Dovenby and Tallentire.

Did you know?

The five turbines will supply the average electricity demand of around 5,500 homes.

Clean and safe solutions

The UK has committed to new EU energy targets to generate 15% of all energy from renewable sources by 2020. To meet its share the UK must make use of our abundant supplies of wind energy.

Approving projects like the one is vital if we are serious about meeting these targets.

Let's make it happen

West Cumbria and North Lakes Friends of the Earth are supporting this proposal. They are campaigning for a safe future for everyone in the area.

Please join them in calling on Allerdale Borough Council to approve the project and help cut carbon dioxide emissions.
