Clean and safe solutions

Thanks to Friends of the Earth's Big Ask campaign the Government has introduced a strong climate law to reduce the UK's carbon dioxide emissions.

The UK has committed to new EU energy targets to generate 15% of all energy from renewable sources by 2020. To meet its share the UK must make use of our abundant supplies of wind energy.

Approving projects like the one is vital if we are serious about meeting these targets.

Let's make it happen

This proposal is supported by local people from Leeds Friends of the Earth. They are campaigning for a safe future for everyone in the area.

Please join them in calling on Leeds Metropolitan District Council to approve the project and help cut carbon dioxide emissions.
