Faster, stronger action on cold rented homes is needed in Energy Bill

I love my flat but it has massive draughty windows and is blooming freezing.

Last night I was so cold I went to bed in pyjamas, ski socks, a hoodie with the hood up and a dressing gown to top it all off . And that was with the heating on full blast.

Fortunately there was no one there to witness the not-so-hot Michelin-woman nightwear look.

The cold damp weather has now crept inside and coated the living room wall in rank green mould. We've been pestering the landlord for weeks to sort it out but he's 'very busy'.

Rubbish - especially when you consider how expensive the rent is.
