Faster, stronger action on cold rented homes is needed in Energy Bill

Being cold indoors has driven me to some extreme lengths and eccentric behaviour.

One of my outlandish schemes came back to haunt me recently when I was approached by a man I barely recognised at a gig. He beamed at me and bellowed 'where's your nose warmer?!'

He turned out to be a friend of a friend who'd known me at university when I knitted myself a nose-warming device. Unbeknown to me, word had spread and I was somewhat renowned for it.
