Support Spring Farm Ridge Windfarm
18 January 2011

A new windfarm is proposed in South Northamptonshire between the villages of Greatworth, Helmdon and Sulgrave.

Did you know?

The five turbines will supply the average electricity demand for around 5,580 homes.

Clean and safe solutions

The UK has committed to new EU energy targets to generate 15% of all the UK's energy from renewable sources by 2020. To meet its share the UK must make use of our abundant supplies of wind energy.

Approving projects like this is vital if we are serious about meeting these targets.

Let's make it happen

The developer, Broadview Energy, has consulted widely with both the public and statutory authorities.

Local support

Spring Farm Ridge windfarm is supported by local people from the Pro Wind Alliance.

Please join them in calling on South Northamptonshire Council to approve the project and help cut carbon dioxide emissions.
