Support the Atlantic Array windfarm20 August 2013
Take action to secure 34,000 green jobs in the South West
The Atlantic Array is a proposed offshore windfarm off the coast of Devon and South Wales.
If built, it will be one of the world's largest, with the potential to power up to 900,000 homes with clean British energy for 25 years.
It's also a key step in building a thriving marine and offshore green energy industry in the south-west England that could employ 34,000 people by 2030.
The Atlantic Array needs your support. Please don't let a minority of objectors be the only voices heard.
Register with the Planning Inspectorate to tell them why the Array must go ahead. You have until 16 September to do this - but please don't delay.

I support the proposed Atalantic Array Offshore Wind Farm.
It has the potential to be a significant boost for local economies. As well as constructing and maintaining the Array itself, the project could be a key step in building a thriving green energy industry around the Bristol Channel, supporting tens of thousands of jobs.
The Array could generate enough electricity to power 900,000 homes, seriously reducing our climate-threatening carbon emissions and reducing our dependence on imported fuels.
I want the developers, Channel Energy Limited, to:
- Continue working positively with wildlife and fisheries bodies to ensure that harm to birds and marine life is minimised and populations continue to thrive, and that the area within the Array is managed to greatest benefit of local fisheries and marine life
- Work with local Councils, Local Enterprise Partnerships, colleges and others to ensure the best economic gains for companies and ports based around the Bristol Channel, and help build a strong supply chain and a thriving green energy sector in south-west England and South Wales.
