Friends of the Earth and Friends of the Earth International are campaigning for environmental justice in the UK and around the world.
Our goals are:
Environmental rights
Everyone has a right to a healthy environment.
People should be able to live free from pollution, protected from floods and severe weather.
And they should have access to safe open spaces, affordable food and transport.
Local influence
People affected by environmental problems should be able to get hold of information about what is happening in their area.
They should also have the power to change things.

Laws that work for people
We want to use the law to help protect people and where they live.
This includes preventing pollution from factories and destruction of forests.
It also means pushing governments and those in power to act on climate change.
Planning for a green economy
