Invite your MP to our Planning Bill event in Parliament8 May 2009
The Planning Bill will soon to return to the House of Commons for the final vote before becoming law.
These last few weeks are crucial in pushing for changes to the Bill to get:
- Climate change to be recognised in the Bill
- A meaningful right to be heard for communities
Building Britain
On the 12th November 2008 we're going to be holding an event in Parliament:
'Building Britain? Climate change, communities and major infrastructure; The Planning Bill'
This will be a last chance for MPs to engage with our campaign.
They will also be able to hear from communities about why these issues are important to them.
Our last amendment on including climate change in the Bill was defeated by only 15 votes - so every invitation is important.
