Support the search for Miguel Ángel Pabón Pabón16 November 2012
Miguel Ángel Pabón Pabón, a 36 year old activist working with the Colombian Movement in Defence of Land and People Affected by Dams "Ríos Vivos" (Living Rivers), has gone missing.
Miguel has been campaigning against the environmental impacts of the Hidrosogamoso dam on the surrounding farming and fishing communities.
Friends of the Earth International is concerned for his safety.
In this year alone, 11 people working to defend the rights of communities have been reported missing, six of whom were later found dead.
Please sign this letter calling for a full investigation into his disappearance. It will be sent to various politicians and law enforcement officials in Colombia.
