Soon the Government will be making some important decisions about the future of food grown and eaten in the UK.

At the moment, most food in the UK is GM-free. But GM - genetic modification - is a new technology and nobody really knows it's effects on our health and the environment.

The Government is under pressure to allow:

Widespread planting of GM crops
More imports of GM food

If GM gets the go-ahead then it will be impossible to guarantee that organic or locally grown food is GM-free.

We believe you should have the right to choose.
