The Department for Transport (DfT) is failing on climate change.
Emissions will continue to rise without a radical change of approach according to a new report from Friends of the Earth and environmental groups.
The report (PDF† 905K), written by respected consultants Steer Davies Gleave, concludes that:
Friends of the Earth believes that DfT is losing the battle to cut emissions. Transport Secretary Douglas Alexander must make tackling climate change his top priority.
