Friends of the Earth International is organising a Flood for Climate Justice in Copenhagen on 12 December 2009.
The action will take place in the middle weekend of the UNFCCC climate conference.
It will be a clear demand for climate justice - calling on world leaders to find fair solutions to the climate crisis.

The event will start in the morning with a colourful procession moving as a human flood. This will pass through Nørrebro - one of the working class neighbourhoods of Copenhagen.
The Flood will end in one of the main squares in the city centre. We'll use our bodies and voices to spell out a message to decision makers in a giant living banner.
We hope to use the action to help build a climate justice movement in support of our demands.
This will support other events in Copenhagen such as the Klimaforum09.

Friends of the Earth is calling on world leaders to agree a just and sufficient agreement at Copenhagen.

Together, many drops can form a flood!

Then come together in London on 5 December to stop climate chaos and join The Wave instead.
