Companies Act 2006 20 April 2010
The Companies Act 2006 came into force on 1st October 2007.
Local groups and campaigners worked hard over the past few years to make the UK's reformed companies legislation work better for people and the planet.
The CORE Coalition and the Trade Justice Movement have produced a campaigner's guide to the Companies Act. This guide provides advice and ideas on how activists and campaigners can use the new opportunities to help improve the social and environmental performance of companies.
