Getting in your local press30 June 2009
Your local press can play a major role in getting your campaign noticed.
Not only can it spur people into action - but it might also catch the eye of your local MP.
Birmingham Friends of the Earth got in touch with their local paper about their recent Food Chain events. The result was a 2-page spread in the Birmingham Mail.
Write to your local press
When you run your next Food Chain event why not let your local media know.
Sample press releases are available on our campaign guides page.
