Bolton get caught up in battle30 June 2009
It wasn't just the weather that Bolton Friends of the Earth had to battle at their recent stall.
They pitched up at the medieval weekend organised by the local council from 20-21 June. But to their surprise they had a lifeboat to one side - and a battle re-enactment to the other.
Despite the bizarre circumstances they had a great weekend and got lots of postcards signed.
So don't be put off by the weather - or rampaging warriors!
