Pouring rain doesn't stop Stockport Friends of the Earth8 June 2009
Stockport Friends of the Earth have shown that you don't need sunshine to run a successful stall.
During a weekend of atrocious weather they managed to get loads of postcards signed at the Stockport Environment Fair.
The Mayor of Stockport braved the rain and took the opportunity to ask his MP to fix the food chain.
With the weather being so wet, we were unable to deploy the cardboard livestock apparel, but it was nevertheless a successful day.

The group also recently ran another great stall at Poynton Farmer's Market.
Next they head off to the Marple Carnival on 20 June - fingers crossed for better weather!
