But a strong system isn't enough on its own - people need to be able to use these rights.
Working for environmental justice
People who are experiencing environmental problems are often less able to deal with them.
Friends of the Earth campaigns to defend and extend people's right to:
- Get hold of environmental information
- Take part in the land-use planning system
- Have access to the law.
