Campaigner Networks review
29 July 2011

What are campaigner networks?

Previously Friends of the Earth has had networks for activists who want to get more involved in a particular campaign area. Members receive information, tips, and actions from the relevant campaign team; share skills and expertise with other members.

Between 2009 and 2011 a review of the campaigner networks has been carried out in order to explore the potential for improving the tools we use to facilitate networking and skillsharing between activists.

We collated everything we've learned, and worked with staff and an advisory group made up of local group members to come up with a proposal for improvements.

Campaign Hubs

Our brand new, interactive web-space to support networking will launch in September 2011.

Campaign Hubs is the new name for this space and replaces the term "campaigner networks".

You can find out more about Campaign Hubs here, and if you want to get in touch about any aspect of these changes, or to join the advisory group for Campaign Hubs, you can email Jenny Thatcher (jenny.thatcher@foe.co.uk).
