Local groups consultation - The next steps13 January 2011
In 2010 Friends of the Earth asked local groups for your thoughts on how we support, involve and work with you. If you took part then thank you.
What now?
Groups fed back on issues around training, campaigns (of all shapes and sizes), support for local work, information, involvement in the organisation, networking and skill sharing and membership to name just a few.
This feedback and the recommendations that come from it are important and will help guide our work with groups for years to come.
We've already identified a lot of ways that we can respond on these and other areas, to build an even stronger, more vibrant network, equipped with the information and resources it needs to tackle the major challenges we face locally and globally.
We'll be starting that work in 2011, in some cases launching new work and in others changing or improving what already happens.
If you have any questions, email localgroups@foe.co.uk or speak to your Network Developer.
Further Information
You can see a brief run-down of what we heard and some of the top priority responses in the What you told us leaflet.
If you'd like more in-depth information on the findings and recommendations you can read the full report .
Also available are the analysis of the online survey and the raw data from the face to face discussion events and the telephone interviews.
Thank you again for your involvement. We look forward to working together with you to make the network even stronger.
