Keeping up to date14 June 2010
Here are the main ways we keep Co-ordinators up to date with key information:
1. Overall, your Network Developer will be your main point of contact, with regular email communications and telephone and face to face catch-ups.
2. The Co-ordinator Update is a monthly email newsletter from your Network Developer. It provides a wealth of information to help you effectively co-ordinate your group, including campaign updates, regional news, resources and training opportunities. As a Co-ordinator, you will receive this automatically. Your fellow group members can sign up to receive the monthly Action Update for your region, which includes similar information.
3. Change your world is our bi-monthly magazine for local groups. As Co-ordinator, you will receive this automatically and your copy may contain additional inserts with key information and events. Your fellow group members can also sign up to receive Change your world.
4. If you're also the Internal Contact for your group, you'll also receive regular administrative mailings from us. Details of these are in the Co-ordinator's Calendar. Please tell your Network Developer if you'd prefer to receive these mailings by email whenever possible.
5. Depending on what priority campaign your group is signed up to, the designated campaign contact for your group will receive specific updates from the relevant campaign team. Please contact the Campaign Assistant for the relevant priority campaign to make sure that your group is receving the correct updates.
6. You and your group might also like to make sure that a few of you are signed up to one or more of our campaign networks, especially if there are specific issues in which your group is interested in.
7. Finally, if you or any of your group members are interested in either Friends of the Earth's work more generally or specific campaign areas, visit our Campaign Actions page to take action and to subscribe to our campaign email lists.
If your contact details change at any point, if you hand over your role to someone new, or if a new joint Co-ordinator starts with you, please make sure you tell your Network Developer.
