All licensed local groups are covered by Friends of the Earth's Public & Products Liability and Employer's Liability insurance policy.
Please read the Insurance Guidance Notes carefully. It's crucial that all local groups know what activities are covered - and any related conditions.
All local groups and their members must only carry out the activities permitted by the insurance policies when acting on behalf of the group and/or Friends of the Earth.
Undertaking an activity not covered by our insurance makes the individuals concerned - and Friends of the Earth - liable for the full cost of any claim made.
You will often need to prove that you have Public Liability insurance cover before booking a stall or organising an event. Download a copy of the Public Liability Insurance Certifcate here.
