3D Process and Motions
24 April 2012

What do you think Friends of the Earth should be working on?

The new 3D process gives your group an exciting opportunity to submit new campaign or project ideas, and to comment on proposals made by other groups. The most popular local group proposal will become part of our work, either within an existing work-stream or as a distinct project with its own funding.

We're running the 3D process as a one-year trial. We hope it'll provide the inspiration and motivation your group needs to put forward ideas.

If your group wants to raise anything to do with constitutional matters - ie how we work, rather than what we work on - the old Motions process still exists.

The top three 3D Proposals and any prioritised constitutional Motions will be debated at Conference.

How can my group get involved?

Read the 3D Process and Motions Process Guidance first. It'll tell you how to submit a 3D Proposal and/or a constitutional Motion. And it will explain how all your group members can view and comment on the Proposals and Motions online.

We've set up a new 3D Proposals and Motions Hub to create a more open and interactive approach. This is where all Proposals and Motions are viewed, submitted and commented on. It's a private Hub so only local group members, staff and Board members can join.

To request access to the Hub, read the instructions in the 3D Process and Motions Process Guidance, then go to www.foe.co.uk/campaignhubs to get started.
