Energy efficiency

Lifestyles, particularly in the developed world, use energy wastefully. Yet relatively simple energy efficiency improvements can quickly save money and help reduce dangerous climate change emissions.

Energy efficiency measures:

• are the most cost-effective way of reducing all the many problems related to providing energy
• compliment renewable energy schemes
• create safe, clean jobs in the delivery of Wales's energy needs.

Major National Assembly support and investment in energy and fuel efficiency is now more important than ever. Such action will reduce fossil fuel and nuclear pollution and dangerous climate change emissions.
