Friends of the Earth Cymru is campaigning for the National Assembly
to declare Wales a Zero-Waste nation. This would be accompanied by a
practical plan to eliminate all waste of resources in 25 years.

The National Assembly cannot do this on its own. However, it can take a lead in the policies it implements in Wales. It can also lobby for new UK and European laws to reduce the amount of waste society produces.
