Save the Gwent Levels

The Welsh Assembly Government wants to build a new motorway across the Gwent Levels. More road building and more traffic will lead to more climate changing emissions.

Friends of the Earth thinks this road shouldn't get the go-ahead because it will:

  • Endanger one of our top wetland wildlife sites
  • Create more traffic problems not less
  • Waste money that could be spent on much needed local public transport

Gwent levels

The Gwent Levels is a key habitat for many species

We should invest in transport solutions that don't contribute to climate change.

E-mail your Assembly Member to demand that they put pressure on the Minister for Economic Development and Transport to stop the road being built.
