Friends of the Earth is working on the following campaigns:

  • Development masterplan
    In his London Plan the Mayor is planning large scale growth and development.
  • Road Transport
    Mayor Livingstone wants to build a new road bridge across the river in east London.
  • Aviation
    Aviation is the fastest growing source of climate changing emissions, but the Government wants to build a third runway at Heathrow.
  • 2012 Olympics
    The 2012 London Olympic/Paralympic Games should be a beacon of 21st Century thinking on sustainable development.
