The South East is already being affected by climate change and research shows that the impacts could be severe.
The region hasn't been reacting fast enough. In fact car ownership has been rising and investment in renewable energy schemes is too low.
We've successfully lobbied for regional policies to push more renewable energy and set targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. We support examples of good projects which reduce emissions.
