Want to take action against climate change? Have issues with an airport expansion? Worried about local wildlife falling prey to yet another supermarket? Perhaps you want to whip up support for a proposed wind farm?
Joining a Friends of the Earth local group will unite you with like-minded people and provide you with the resources, advice and support you need to get active on environmental issues.
There are around 200 Friends of the Earth local groups in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, including the Channel Islands and Isle of Man (Friends of the Earth Scotland is a separate organisation).
Friends of the Earth local groups work to improve the environment in their own area, as well as joining in with campaigns nationally and internationally.
Visit Friends of the Earth's Community website to find out more about our work locally.
Chris Crean, Regional Campaigns Co-ordinator
The Campaigns Co-ordinator is there to support regionally significant campaigns and to lobby for regional policies and decisions to be sustainable.
Louise Hazan, Midlands Network Developer
The Network Developer works with existing local groups, helps to begin new groups and strengthens networks between groups throughout the region.
