200 activists from 95 local groups gathered together with staff for an action-packed 2 days in September.
Conference recharges you and provides a boost for the coming months. It inspires you to do more.
90% of delegates scored the event as good or very good, with lots of people putting the Open Space discussion on the future of activism for Friends of the Earth as their highlight.
The best part of Conference this year has been Open Space. It empowers group members to lead a discussion on a topic that matters to them.
The Earthmover Awards were also a favourite, closely followed by the informative seminars and workshops.
The Earthmovers awards ceremony was most inspiring, pointing out what a successful campaign looks like in the flesh so we can imitate it.
With Conference 2009 still fresh in our memory, don't forget to pop the date for 2010 in your diary! Next year, we'll be in Reading on the weekend of 11-12 September - we look forward to seeing you there.
