Board elections

Elections for the regional representatives on Friends of the Earth Ltd's Board occur annually.

Each Board member serves a 3-year term, so regions come up for Election once every 3 years. Local groups in each Election region receive information on how to nominate a candidate in Spring, followed by the opportunity to vote at Conference in September (or by post over the Summer). 

For 2009, elections were held for Cymru and Northern Ireland, and the London and South West regions. The following individuals have been elected:

• Cymru: Michael Hughes (Llangollen & District)
• Northern Ireland: Bonnie Horsman (Bambridge & Mourne)
• London: Jess Gold (Camden)
• South West: Jeremy Birch (Bristol)
