The Board of Friends of the Earth will now consider the two passed Motions (known as Resolutions). Board members will update local groups on progress via the Motions Resolutions Paper 2011 (in Spring 2012).

You can read the Board's progress with the Resolutions passed in 2010 via the Motions Implementations Paper 2010.

Background to the Motions process

The annual Motions process is one of the important opportunities for local groups to put forward their suggestions for the future work and direction of Friends of the Earth. Any licensed local group can propose a Motion (provided they have been in existence for more than one year by Conference).

In 2010 a Board Motion proposing various changes to the Motions process was approved by Conference. Please read the Motions Guidance Notes for more information on the new process.
