Northern training and events in 2012
Here are the dates and details of our upcoming training events across the North.
16-17 June: The Northern Gathering
Roll up, roll up for our annual training and inspiration-sharing weekend for activists across the North.
This year we'll be back at the lovely Haworth Youth Hostel from Saturday 16 - Sunday 17 June. Please save the date in your diary and encourage fellow group members to do the same. More information and booking.
The theme for this year's event is The Art of Activism.
We'll be looking at a range of creative campaigning tactics, and more. You can expect opportunities to hone your skills, from photography to practical prop-making. We'll also be discussing a whole range of issues and campaigning tactics.
This event is for you if :
- you're interested in improving how your group communicates and reaches out into your community
- you'd like to get your message across more effectively with creative campaigning tactics
Finally, we're on the hunt for excellent people to run training sessions and contribute to a number of projects over the weekend. If you know any creative types who might lend a hand with the development of the event, please do let us know.
