Ask for help
The more people involved the less work it'll be. You'll also increase guest numbers. If your friends are actively involved in the event they'll be more likely to spread the message.
Think about your options
Do you have access to a venue? Do you have any contacts that could help promote the event? Could your company donate a raffle prize? Will your local community get involved?
Get everything donated or discounted
It will help you raise as much as possible. Think about friends, family and local businesses - and let everyone know that your're supporting a great cause.
Use what you have available
Do you know a DJ, magician, cake maker or band? Entertainment is expensive - you should avoid paying for it unless you absolutely have to.
Work towards a fundraising target
It helps to motivate everyone involved.
Consider your budget
Keep your costs to a minimum. Every penny you spend will take away from the amount you raise.
Have fun
The more you enjoy it, the more successful it will be.
