Event write-up and resources
27 local campaigners joined 5 Friends of the Earth campaigns and activism staff in Plymouth and Bristol earlier this year to:
- develop our campaigning skills & knowledge
- learn more about the latest Friends of the Earth campaigns
- share ideas and inspiration with others taking action locally and regionally
Campaign and skills-sharing topics ranged from energy prices, the bix six energy companies and solutions for green home-grown energy supplies during sessions on our Final Demand campaign, to how can we communicate environmental campaign messages effectively; from campaigning on marine issues during the Open Space discussions to campaigning on major infrastructure projects like nuclear and biofuels.

Dave Powell talks to Julian Jones from Bristol Friends of the Earth about our Final Demand campaign for a renewable, home-grown energy supply future.
