Itinerary

Starting in Winchester, the ancient capital of Wessex, we'll set off from the impressive Cathedral early. Passing historic buildings and quiet streets, we'll follow the Itchen valley out of the city.

Through woodland and farmland, we'll pass ancient earthworks as we reach King's Somborne; a peaceful historical village mentioned in the Domesday book.

We'll reach our half way point as we cross the River Test and begin climbing out of the Test Valley to the rolling downs beyond.

Travelling through small villages and roman roads, Salisbury's 404ft Cathedral spire comes in to view. Passing a Norman hunting lodge, we soon drop down into the quaint streets of Salisbury and our finish line.
