What's going on
Currently we are campaigning as part of Friends of the Earth's "Big Ask" campaign to ensure local government at all levels - including local government - makes energy saving and development of renewables its urgent priority.
Locally we are trying to ensure that a large new Tesco development includes plans for traffic-calming and improved facilities for pedestrians in a wide area around the store.
We also play an active part in Flintshire Fairtrade Coalition, which accepts the need, also, for "relocalisation" of food supplies wherever possible.
