How healthy is the food were eating?  A great way to track just how good or bad your diet is write it down and just think about what your eating and where it comes from.

Its also a great way of thinking up new ideas for lunch boxes or dinner etc.

So far today iv had

2 slices of wheat free toast with organic hummous

a punnet of organic cherry tomatoes for lunch

a packet of natures harvest chilli rice crackers

And for dinner tonight im having mixed salad with avacardos, seaweed, mixed seeds and pine nuts as well as the usual salad veggies and raw cabbage. carrots and cauliflower with a dab of egg free mayo.

Your turn...........

EDITED.
OK the healthy salad didnt go to plan, wasnt hungry so i skipped a meal tut tut tut!  Did pinch handful of my partners oven chips though, they smelt good but didnt taste so good.

Well, so far today (I've only been up since mid morning as it's a week of nights at work) I've had two boiled duck eggs with dippy-in wholemeal brown bread soldiers (yes I'm a big kid!).

Just made up some buttered (Yeo Valley butter) brown baps with sliced ham (RSPCA monitored) for work and put a Yeo valley yogurt in the lunchbox for afters.

That's about it for today unless the chocolate malted milk biscuits in my lunchbox force me into eating them!  Grin

I've had a Pop Tart for brekkie (in a rush); a brown pitta with salad and an apple for lunch, and mixed beans and salad for tea. No snacks - I'm a good girl like that!

Capers are the unopened flower buds of the caper bush, Capparis spinosa - pickled in vinegar or salt

The taste is sharp and warm and slightly mustardy

A definite Mediterranean flavour - I love them with tomato and pepper roasts, pasta, fishy dishes and with cheese an hummus

Any recipe that calls for anchovies gets capers in this house  Tongue

I always thought they were some kind of seafood thing.  I remember going to a boyfriends years ago and he knew I was veggie but didnt really approve much, he did capers in a salad and i refused to eat them.

What a disaster that meal was, he did melon to start which was the only fruit i really didnt like back then (early 20's) then this salad with these capers i didnt like the look of then he came out with ice cream for desert.  I just looked and said eeerrrrrm I dont eat ice cream.

We went on holiday together then decided not to see each other again hehehe  After that I decided best stick with veggie men.
