Support Steadfold Lane Windfarm
13 March 2012

A new windfarm is proposed at Steadfold Farm, near Ketton, Rutland, near Stamford.

Did you know?

The two turbines will supply the average electricity demand for up to 1,370 homes. This is enough to meet the equivalent of all homes in Ketton and two other nearby villages.

Clean and safe solutions

The UK has committed to new EU energy targets to generate 15% of all the UK's energy from renewable sources by 2020. To meet its share, the UK must make use of our abundant supplies of wind energy.

Approving projects like this is vital if we are serious about meeting these targets.

Let's make it happen

The developer REG Windpower has provided a Community Benefit Fund worth around £16,000 per year to support local good causes throughout the wind farm's operating life.
