Stop drilling for oil in Balcombe
8 August 2013

Please tell West Sussex County Council you don't want drilling for oil at Balcombe.

The company that caused earthquakes by fracking in Lancashire is still at it. They're drilling to test for oil in Balcombe, West Sussex.

They've applied to extend the time they can do this work - yet there's never been a full report of all the environmental impacts. They also want to increase the size of the equipment used to flare any gas that comes up from drilling.

West Sussex County Council is deciding what to do about these applications right now.

Please ask West Sussex County Council to say no to drilling today.

Hundreds of Friends of the Earth supporters told Lancashire County Council to say no to fracking last year. We need you to help this time.

Let's show them that we won't give up.

Please add your own comments when you email West Sussex County Council today. Thank you.
