Enter now to be judged by green business gurus

Fancy getting yourself or your business in front of some top green business people? Well, here's your opportunity.

The People and the Environment Achievement Business Awards (PEABs) have been launched to celebrate how green initiatives can be good for business as well as the planet. They recognise contributions from individuals and teams to 'greening' UK businesses.

Friends of the Earth is the PEABs charity partner and sponsor of the Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) award. We'll be there on the evening, offering three exciting high-value prizes in a charity raffle with all proceeds going to our vital green campaigning.

The judging panel includes Leo Johnson (Head of Sustainability at PwC), Deborah Meadon (entrepreneur and star of Dragon's Den), Josephine Fairley (co-founder of Green & Black's), and Tony Juniper (environmental campaigner and author). Our own Joe Jenkins, Head of Fundraising, Communications and Activism will be joining the panel to help judge the CSR award.

It's free to enter the PEABs and you can enter multiple categories.

All finalists will be invited to the awards ceremony at The Orangery at Kensington Palace on 26 January 2012. So not only could you get your work recognised by some green business gurus, but you could also get along to the glitzy awards ceremony.

Why not nominate a green business or individual now?

Entries close 3 January 2012. Nominate online at PEA Business Awards.
