Rules and regulations
Which bit of the Earth are you a Friend of? Our one-minute film competition is open to anyone in the world.
The competition opened on 11 June 2008 and closes on 29 August 2008.
Key points
- 60 seconds – no more, no less.
- Explore the question ‘Which bit of the Earth are you a Friend of?’
- Film must be available in broadcast quality.
- Films must include our end screen as the final shot.
- Contributors must be the sole author(s).
- By entering, filmmakers agree to Friends of the Earth showcasing their films during and after the competition
- No unlicenced use of copyrighted material.
- No rude, unlawful or discriminatory material and no promotion of products or services.
- Some prizes are only open to UK residents.
- All one-minute films can be entered, regardless of previous screenings and awards, and you can submit more than one film.
